It was an honour to speak at the NZ Association of Women Judges AGM alongside former refugees Rahela, Venus and Jawwed. We spoke of the history of refugee settlement in NZ, the work CRF do to facilitate and empower newcomers to full and meaningful participation and the ongoing challenges and barriers such as ongoing discrimination across society and contestable funding for the essential services and support we provide.
