A campaign for recognition of refugee-background tertiary students as an equity group.
The campaign aims to have refugee-background students recognised as an equity group in government policy and at universities and polytechnics. This would mean additional study support and resources to help reduce barriers to those students enrolling and completing tertiary qualifications. Our Board is governed by people from refugee backgrounds who represent the interests of former refugees generally rather then their communities specifically. We also have 20% representation from other communities.
