Refugees into Business

Refugees into Business (RiB) supports people from refugee backgrounds who want to become self employed, to establish a business or expand their business. The programme includes a RiB Advisory Panel made up of successful business people who provide feedback and mentoring.

There are four stages in the RiB programme. These are:

Stage 1: Register with RiB

  • Clients meet with ChangeMakers to discuss business idea and complete a registration form.

Stage 2: Present your business or business idea

  • Clients present their business idea or objective to the Advisory Panel. The panel will talk with each budding enterpreneur about their business or business idea and provide feedback.

Stage 3: Create a plan

  • Clients work with a mentor to develop a business plan or to expand their business.

Stage 4: Mentoring and Support

  • Clients receive on-going mentoring and support to develop their idea or business.
