Equity campaign

ChangeMakers Refugee Forum, the National Refugee Network, MCLaSS and academics from Victoria University launched An equitable education, a campaign for recognition of refugee-background students as an equity group on 23rd August 2011.

The campaign aims to have refugee-background students recognised as an equity group in government policy and at universities and polytechnics. This would mean additional study support and resources to help reduce barriers to those students enrolling and completing tertiary qualifications.
